I really liked the movement mechanic but something felt off when i was playing the demo, maybe you're aware of it. I think it feels jittery? Maybe the final version doesn't have it idk but i'm guessing it's about godot's physic interpolation?
Hmm, was it like a blur/distortion with the character sprites? Some people encountered that before, but I was pretty sure it had been fixed. Or is it something else? either way, I'd definitely like to get to the bottom of what's happening since it needs to run smoothly for everyone!
I think the video of the gameplay also captured the problem i was mentioning. Character movement looks jittery for some reason to me. In your videos and the trailer character was very smooth though so it's probably just a me problem that i wouldn't worry too much about unless you get the same feedback from several other people.
Oh, that's so weird - this is the first I've heard of this particular issue. I wonder if it could have something to do with physics interpolation or framerate. Are you using a high refresh-rate monitor by chance?
I'm using ViewSonic VA3456-MHDJ. It's a 3440x1440 75hz IPS ultrawide monitor. So refresh rate isn't that much and i use adaptive sync, lock the FPS at 72 to avoid screen tearing in general for gaming.
It's probably my settings, like i said if you didn't get complaints about this a lot i guess it's fine to ignore it
